Timers randomly Activating with OS4 release

I have used Time Tracker for a couple of years now and have been very happy with it.  However, a Time Tracker update was recently loaded for OS4.  I am using the update version on OS 4.0 on an iTouch Gen3.

The problem that I am having is that the timers on items are randomly activating.  This results in time entries from previous days having a random number of hours added to them.  I have seen entries that were at 3.5 hours show up as 75,32 hours a couple of days later.  The timers were definitely NOT displaying as active in the item list.  Then, one time that I went into the item list, almost all of the timers were active and the hours all jumped by about 70 hours.

I am also seeing that when I go into the items list, sometimes the numbers are as expected, other times they are not.  If I exit the program and return, sometimes they fix themselves, sometimes not.  If I don't notice the problem, the random numbers all lock in.

Similarly, going into the hours from the edit item screen often shows 0 hours or a strange number.  If I notice this and exit, then come back in. it is often fixed, but not always.  What can I do to get this working again?

Re: Timers randomly Activating with OS4 release

I just want to second this...

I recently got the iPhone 4 and according moved to iPhone OS 4. Since then, I've had several issues, one of which is mentioned above. A little more detail:

For me, the problem seems to be related to enabling multiple timers for Time Tracker. Whenever I do so, all of my old timers act as though they were never stopped, so my week-old tasks are all at 7 days, X hours, N minutes, with more recent tasks showing 6 days, 5 days, etc. I'm still trying to verify whether this will happen with tasks created after turning on multiple timers.

I've lost a couple of weeks of time data because of this, but I love how lightweight the app's interface is, along with its ability to sort projects on three tiers of category. I'd much rather see a fixed version than switch apps... Please help!

P.S. I'm starting another thread for my other major issue, since it seems unrelated.

Re: Timers randomly Activating with OS4 release
We're currently working on these issues, how ever we're having a lot of trouble reproducing them. There's a current beta version with some testers which will hopefully fix these issues. In the mean time if you could try and reproduce the issues and provide us with a step by step walk through of the reproduction so we can finally lay these issues to rest it would be much appreciated. We apologise for the inconvenience and will have this fixed as soon as possible.

Try this...
If you have not done an erase and restore when you put iOS 4 on your device, please try this as it's solved the issues for another user. If you have done that and you still see the issues please let us know.
